July 27 2026Team Nyiri and Phi Take Team Event on Berryessa!
We had four teams brave and heat and wind for this one. It was a tough bite but who could complain, we were fishing. First place and with the only limit went to Matt Nyiri and Binh Phi with 8.04lbs. The winning baits were a dropshot and shakeyhead. Second place goes to Deren Kozenko and Matt Dailey with 7.76lbs with four fish. I believe it was crankbaits that got their fish. First out of the money but winners of the Littlefoot lure pack was the team of Michael Ayers and David Brown Jr. Big fish honors goes to Mike Ayers with a nice 2.98lb largemouth one of those new urchin style baits. Way to go Mike. Thank you all that were able to make it. This was a tough one with the ramp traffic, parking, heat, wind and pleasure boaters but we did it. Thank you again for all your assistance and patience.
