Binh Phi takes Clear Lake Classic with Big Win!
Clear Lake was alive with energy as the state’s top bass anglers faced off in the 2025 SCBBBC ODP State Classic. Over two days of intense competition, the water yielded giants—and one angler rose above them all.
Binh Phi delivered a masterclass in consistency and precision, hauling in a two-day, 8-fish limit totaling 29.04 pounds. His biggest catch weighed in at 5.46 lbs, helping secure a decisive first-place finish. Binh’s calm focus and strategic casting made him the clear champion.
Hot on his heels was Matt Nyiri, who also brought in a full 8-fish limit for 24.46 pounds, earning second place. Matt’s steady performance kept the pressure on, but Binh’s lead proved insurmountable.
Dale Zindler claimed third with 23.80 pounds from his 8-fish haul. Known for his finesse fishing, Dale worked the shallows with surgical precision, landing quality bass throughout the weekend.
The biggest bass of the tournament belonged to Giuseppe Pignataro, whose 6.02-pound monster anchored his 7-fish total of 21.72 pounds, earning him fourth place. Though one fish short of a full limit, Giuseppe’s heavyweight catch turned heads and earned him bragging rights for the biggest fish of the event.
