June 10th 2017Mike Ayers Takes Clear Lake For The Win!
SCBBBC was on Clear Lake for the clubs 5th tournament of the season. Twenty anglers blasted off at 2 pm for a special sundowner event. When the sun had set and the moon was rising it was Mike Ayers with the win. Mike's five fish limit and kicker big fish of 7.32 lbs weighed in at 19.61 pounds. 2nd place was Binh Phi with 5 for 16.37 pounds. 3rd went to Matt Nyiri with 5 for 13.89 lbs. 4th goes to Matt Cahill with 5 for 12.56 lbs. And in 5th was Andy Mercado with 5 for 11.93 lbs. After 5 tournaments and with 5 to go we have a two man race for angler of the year as Mike and Matt are starting to pull away from the pack. The rookie of the year race is close also with Anthony Martinez and Brian Berndt battling it out. Thanks to everyone that came out and fished. Next up is teams at Sonoma.
