October 18th 2015Mike Ayers Wins his Second of the Year on Blue Lakes!
The clubs 9th tournament of the year was held exclusively at the clear lake only of Blue Lakes in Lake County, where water clarity is crystal clear for 20 feet. One of the toughest bass lakes the club would ever fish. Only a hand full of brave anglers were up for the challenge. When it was all said and done it was Mike Ayers with the win. Mike weighed in 3 fish for 6.50 pounds and big fish of 2.67lbs. 2nd place with 3 fish was Dave Sternitzke weighing in at 4.75. 3rd place also with 3 fish goes to Jason Cullen with 4.72 lbs. 4th place was Mike Boggs with 2 for 3.59. 5th place was Rolondo Villanueva with 1 for 2.20.
Next up is the last tournament of year! This will be one of the clubs great endings with 3 anglers within 7 points for the Angler of the Year race. Only one will be crowned Sunday! Tournament of Champions is also to close to call for a few members! Get ready Sonoma here we come!
