October 11th 2014Scott Townsend Wins His First Tournament at Clear Lake!
17 anglers showed to battle it out at Clear Lake on Saturday and when all the fish were weighed in it was young Scott Townsend taking the win. Scotts first club win came on his dropshot rig fished down south. Scott weighed in a limit of 4 for 13.23 lbs. Congratulations Scott. 2nd place and big fish goes to Jason Cullen with a nice 6.41 lb big fish and 10.88 overall. 3rd place went to Deren Kozenko with a 4 fish limit of 10.70 lbs. Anglers seemed to struggle on a very tough bite during the tournament but some figured it out. With one tournament left in the season, the battle for AOY comes down to California Delta were Jon Graves and Matt Nyiri will go at it. Good luck guys.
