July 22th 2012Two Delta Tournaments, Two Wins for Jon Graves!
I guess once wasn’t enough? Jon Graves went out and won again on the 2nd stop at the Delta this year. That’s two delta tournaments and to wins for Jon Graves.
With 38 anglers showing up in 90 plus degree weather it was that guy again, Jon Graves claiming victory with a 5 fish limit of 12.20 lbs and thrusting himself into the overall lead for Angler of the Year. Congratulations Jon.
The 6th stop on the Scbbbc was held at a new venue on the California Delta and hosted by Kings Island Resort. The resort owners there were more then great as the provided camping and hot breakfast burritos and coffee to all the anglers which they delivered to launch ramp in the morning. Thank you Kings Island Resort.
Coming in a close 2nd was Anthony Crivelli who’s with a last minute 4 pounder at the dock gave him a 5 fish limit of 11.43 lbs. 3rd place goes to DJ Von Bima with a 5 fish limit of 10.24 lbs. 4th place was Matt Nyiri with 5 for 9.56 lbs. And 5th place was Noah Stevens with 8.31 lbs. Big Fish of the day goes to rookie angler Mike Miller with a nice 5.71 largemouth and his first time in the money! Congratulations to all the top finishers on a overall tough day on the delta. Next up is Blue Lakes.
