Jon
Graves Flips to Victory on the Delta!
39
anglers showed up for the 4th stop on the 2012 Scbbbc tour. Whites Slough
on the California Delta was the spot. Whites known for producing some
of the largest bass and weights of any tour stop was just not her same
old self on this day! With small limits and only one fish over 7lbs
it was Jon Graves who was able to figure them out.
Jon Graves claimed victory with a limit of 20.12 pounds and big fish
overall of 7.28 lbs. Jon caught most of his fish flipping a beaver like
bait. Congratulations Mr. Graves. Coming in 2nd place with a limit of
11.59 pounds was Deren Kozenko. 3rd place went to Mike
Ayers with a limit of 11.49 pounds. 4th place was Andy
Mercado with a limit of 10.43 pounds. And in 5th place was
Todd Iwamoto with a limit of 10.12 pounds. Congratulations
to all the top finishers. We like to welcome our new junior members,
Scott Townsend and Mike Miller. And all the others that came out and
joined us for the first time in a tournament. I’d also like to
thank everyone that brought can food and to the nice gentleman at the
weigh-in that donated $20 dollars to the food drive! I believe his name
was Reggie. Thanks to the officers for making it all happen smoothly.
Next up is the team event at Lake Sonoma June 2nd.
