March 10th 2012Binh Phi Takes First Place At Lake Berryessa!
29 Kickboaters showed up for the second leg of the 2012 SCBBBC schedule at Lake Berryessa on Saturday morning the 10th of March. The club was making its first stop ever at Lake Berryessa’s Chaparral Cove campground and launch ramp on the main lake. Coming in first place by only a few ounces was long time member Binh Phi! Binh had a 5 fish limit of 14.48 lbs. Binh went to has dropshot early and finish off his limit later with the DD22. Congratulations Binh! Coming in a close second was John Hatfield with a nice 5 fish limit of 14.31 lbs. fishing in Pope Creek. 3rd place goes to this season’s early point’s leader, Carson Riley with a 5 fish limit of 13.98 lbs. 4th place was Jon Graves with a 5 fish limit of 13.90 lbs. And topping out the top 5 in 5th place was our very own tournament director Andy Mercado with a 5 fish limit of 13.31 lbs. Also in the money was Matt Nyiri. For back to back big fish wins it was Jodon Brendel with a nice 5.53 lb. largemouth. Congratulations to all the top finishers and all the officers for a fun tournament. Next up, the big two day BnT open at Clear Lake.
