Randy Kidd Is King
On the Delta and Wins Big!
The
fifth tournament and half way point of the 2009 Scbbbc schedule was
on the California Delta at White Slough. 30 Angler showed up on what
turned out to be a perfect day on the water with weather and tide conditions
perfect. This would be one of those days a few of us will always remember.
Randy kidd Shocked the world at weigh-in when he pulled a huge 10.53
pound largemouth out of the well, then he proceeded to pull a 9.28 pounder
out of the well. Add a couple other fish to that and Randy was the undisputed
winner with a weight of 23.71 pounds. Randy used a 5" sinko in
a green color to catch his 2 big fish. Congratulations Randy! After
that the big girls just keep coming. DJ Von Bima pulls out a personal
best 9.19 largemouth and a limit of 16.61lbs. to take the 2nd place
overall. Great job DJ. Rookie Angler Luis Cabaloero a youngster fishing
the club tournament also had a personal best, catching a very nice 7.84
lb largemouth. I'm sure Luis is hooked now. Coming in 3rd place overall
was Mike Ayers with a limit of 12.90lbs. 4th place with a limit of 12.60
was Todd Iwamoto. And in 5th place was Dave Sternitzki with a limit
of 10.60 lbs. Congratulation to all top placers. Randy 's and DJ's big
bass will now be in the record books as 3 of the all time Scbbbc top
10 big bass!
With
the first half coming to a close we are in for a great Angler of the
Year, TOC and Rookie of the Year race for the second half. The top 5
right now for Angler of the Year is very tight with Jon Bird leading
the way with 210 pts. The Rookie of the Year race has tightened up with
Matt Nyiri leading over Josh Peterson. TOC bids are up for grabs as
every tournament is crucial.
Next
up on the schedule is Lake Sonoma Night.
